…my mom…she started to lose her hair yesterday…it was Day 14 since her first chemo treatment…and that’s when the doctor said she’d start losing it…so it was an emotional day for her….so please keep her in your constant prayers please….
I’m so sorry…yes I know I haven’t blogged for over a month…Happy Canada Day to all my Canadian friends!! Okay, for those who are still wondering if I’m pregnant still…NO I’M NOT THANK GOODNESS!! We have been a family of four for over a month now…Miss Jocelyn has been in our lives and our arms since May 26th when she decided to grace us with her presence…it’s been an emotional two months to say the least…here’s the general run-down!
April 24th - We found out my mom has ovarian cancer
April 25th - Jason’s grandmother passed away suddenly from a heart attack and a stroke
May 26th - Jocelyn was born
May 28th - Mom had her hysteroctomy surgery/biopsy of tumours
June 16th - Mom found out she needs chemotherapy to make sure all the cancer cells are gone
June 30th - Started to seriously potty train Trenton {HE POOPED IN THE POTTY ONCE ALREADY - YEAH!!!}
PLUS dealing with a newborn and a two year old….and not sleeping very well for obvious reasons…and still trying to maintain a household and clean the house and look after mom and figure out what to do for a job seeing I’m off right now with Mom not working…and have a social life and do some scrapbooking….{I’ve taken a lot of pictures and have started Jocelyn’s album}….it’s been interesting…not sure I’m doing so well on all accounts…I really should be napping cuz both kids are sleeping….but I wanted to get this posted and there’s just SO much more I can do….PLUS I’ll just get to sleep and Jocelyn will wake up to eat….so I’d rather have no sleep than interrupted sleep…
So here are some pictures of our beautiful little girl….with her big brother Trenton…he’s SUCH a good boy with her!!
I’ll update with more pictures later {once I take them off my camera and get them onto the computer!!}
Also my term on Savvy N Sassy’s design team has come to an end…which makes me sad…it was fun being a part of that team and working with the great products…But I’ll be back next year…hopefully if they’ll have me!!!! I’ve applied to another team which I should hear back from by the end of the month…and there’s more DT calls coming up so we’ll see about those too!!!!! Wish me luck!!

Nope…still no baby!! I had a midwife appointment on Thursday afternoon and she did an “exam”…{yeah THAT exam!} and I was 2cm dilated already! So she did a cervical sweep {yippee! TONS of fun!! - NOTE THE SARCASM!} and I thought I was gonna go that night….but nothing yet and it’s Sunday already…maybe this baby is listening to me already from the womb! I told him/her to wait till Monday morning when Nasrin {our midwife} was back on duty! I really wanted her to deliver both our babies {she delivered Trenton too!} That’s why I went back to her because I had such a WONDERFUL experience with her. Her bedside manner is amazing….with Trenton, she didn’t leave our side till I delivered and then once more to go do the paper work! She is AMAZING!!!!!! So she’s not back on call till 8am tomorrow morning so I told the baby to wait till then!!! We want to have the baby before Wednesday because my mom’s hystorectomy surgery is on Wednesday and she has to be there for the delivery of this baby too!! Plus, we need pics and I’m not sure what state Jason’s gonna be in…he’ll probably be a little better because he knows what to expect this time around!
So I’ll keep you updated! If I’m not around for a few days and not answering emails or MSN messages, I’m probably having the baby!!!!! I’ll update with pics of course when it happens!!!

I know I haven’t blogged in awhile {Sorry Melissa!!!} It’s been a busy couple weeks…we had some news about my mom at the end of April. And Jason’s grandmother passed away the next day so we were up north for four days…and then getting ready for the baby…it’s been an interesting couple weeks…

Here is the journalling…that’s the most important part!
Mom was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer on April 24th {that’s when she found out and told us}…so it’s been a busy schedule of tests, waiting, results, waiting….she’s finally got a surgery date for the end of the month….they have to biopsy the masses that are on her ovaries {which they will do when she’s in for her surgery}. So we may be completely worried for nothing…but we also have to weigh the other options…Mom will be off for at least a month so that means I’ll be off for at least two weeks too {I was taking two weeks off when I have the baby anyways}…that’s another thing…I really want to have the baby before Mom goes in for surgery because I want her to be in with us again….mainly cuz I want to have pictures of our day!! ;0) So if this child will listen to me….he or she will come out around the 26th/27th…{not that babies come out when we want them to!!! I guess it will work out if it’s meant to be!}
Anyways, we also set up the baby’s room…well we rearranged the furniture in the kids’ room to fit the crib…
Are we bad parents for using the same crib set that we had for Trenton?
I hope the baby will understand!!!
Okay, so I’ll try to keep you updated a little better…and I’ll be sure to blog when I go into labour!!! {Or maybe after…we’ll see how much time I have before I have to go to the hospital!
Oh, and Happy Long Weekend to all my Canadian friends!!!
And a BIG congratulations to Brad and Melissa…hope your wedding is going well and it turned out to be a beautiful for your special day…sorry we couldn’t come but I didn’t think you’d want to deliver a baby at your wedding…although that would make it memorable! Congrats again!
Trenton and Jason decided to take in some fresh air yesterday afternoon. So of course, they got the hockey sticks out! {Big shocker there!} I decided to try out some of the settings on my camera so I had the “sport” setting on….I LOVE it! I got some good shots {I know my photographer friends won’t think so….hehe!} …for the “cheap” camera I have, it works for me…I got some great pictures of Trenton {of course!} Here they are:

I had a great weekend! Last night Jenn and I went to SCRAPFEST! Yeah! It’s my one night out a year {guaranteed} sans kiddo and hubby! We got there just after 5pm and didn’t leave till just after 8:30pm! We got some GREAT deals! Didn’t win anything {as of yet!!! Ya never know!!} Apparently the Bug called my name around 9pm but we had gone already! {Wonder what I would have won!! Darn….oh well!}
The Scrapbook and Cards Today magazine ladies {Catherine and Kerry} had a promotion to gather birthday cards for the children in the Sick Kids Hospital……..they looked like they had a whole STACK of them in the booth last night…wonder how many more they got today?!?! It would be great it I won the door prize too!

Here’s my goodies….some free {that came in my VIP goodie bag}…most I paid for!
I got 4 stamp sets, a couple single stamps, some ribbon {OF COURSE!}, some chipboard, about 50 new pattern papers {new to me anyways…}, glue dots, and then my freebies! Lots of fun!
We had a GREAT time!! Saw LOTS of people I hadn’t seen in awhile! {Good to see you again Karan!!} Trenton stayed with Grandma and Papere for the night {Thanks guys for watching him! He said he had lots of fun with you guys! Even if he DID fall outta bed!}….
On {EARLY} Saturday morning, Mom and Trenton met me in town to go to our first yard sale….in St. Jacobs! I only spent 5 bucks and got a bunch of stuff!
Yes I KNOW there’s some pink clothing in the picture but I couldn’t pass them up…if we don’t need them, I’ll just have to find someone with a new baby girl or sell them in our own yard sale we’re having after the baby’s born!!! {{I’m hoping to be able to use them though!!}}
