I recently joined the bandwagon and started the 52 altered playing cards challenge posted on the Place for Me blog…it is like a journal…just in a different format…every Monday, Dianna sends a prompt/topic to write/sketch/design with…it’s really not that hard….I did 6 cards in one night…and did week #7 in about 1/2 an hour…there’s not much room on those little playing cards! But they sure are a lot of fun!
There are 52 cards in the deck…..there are 52 weeks in a year….not a coincidence, that’s for sure! At the end of the year, I will have a very cute little deck of “ME”!
Here are weeks 1-6 cards and I created a little box (pictured above) for them to house in. I might have to make another! Or start using flatter embellishments on these cards!!!

I bought a paper mache’ box to put my cards in too~it sits naked and untouched. I’m worried about it being big enough too~I keep adding bulky things to my cards~tee hee…can’t help it!
